The first-stage construction of the Tanchon Power Station, which is of great significance in the development of the country’s electric power industry, has been successfully completed.All the army-people builders excavated a waterway tunnel through rugged mountain ranges in the northern part of the country and built Tanchon power stations Nos. 1, 5 and 6 and two dams, thus laying another solid foundation for the economic development and the improvement of the people’s standard of living.The completion of such great power base is a striking demonstration of the inexhaustible potentials of the DPRK which is accelerating the overall development of Korean-style socialism with confidence in sure victory under the leadership of the respected Comrade

Riding Club Built in Sariwon City 2025.10.28.
A riding club has been newly built in Sariwon City, North Hwanghae Province.The service centre, provided with a room for disseminating riding knowledge, a horse-riding track and basic training ground, was built at the foot of picturesque Mt Jongbang to help working people, youth and students in the province train their physical strength and enjoy a cultural and emotional life to their heart’s content through the riding exercise.Its inaugural ceremony took place on the spot on October 28, 2025....

Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- The 23rd May 21 Architectural Festival opened with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex in the DPRK on May 12 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Architects Union of Korea. Presented to the festival on the theme of "Comprehensive development of socialism to a higher stage and Juche-oriented architecture" were more than 580 multi-dimensional layouts, dozens of construction equipment and tools and over 90 achievements in introducing the architectural information modeling technology, all of which were highly appreciated at provincial (municipal) architectural festivals.
