Remodeled Chongjin University of Agriculture Inaugurated2026.09.16.
North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK has remodeled Chongjin University of Agriculture. The university covering a total floor space of 17 000 square meters has all conditions and environment necessary for teaching and education, agricultural science and technology research and students’ study, including school buildings, combined lecture room, e-library, laboratories, gymnasium and dormitory. It will help train more talented persons to lead the implementation of the Workers’ Party of Korea’s programme for the rural revolution in the new era. An inauguration ceremony of the university was held on September 16. Sanatorium for Disabled Soldiers Inaugurated in DPRK2026.09.15.
The Western Area Sanatorium for Honored Disabled Ex-soldiers has been wonderfully built in the DPRK. The sanatorium covering a total floor space of 10 000 square meters is located in a scenic area of Sinchon County, South Hwanghae Province. It has buildings of peculiar styles linked by outside corridors as well as various service conditions and environment for the convenience of disabled soldiers. The facilities include water treatment place, exercise treatment room, barbershop and cinema room. A ceremony took place on September 15 to inaugurate the sanatorium. Hamhung Barbecue Restaurant Inaugurated in DPRK2026.09.24.
A barbecue restaurant was built in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK. The restaurant has a total floor space of over 2 970 square meters. It has all the conditions and environments for serving various kinds of steaks, starch noodles and soft drinks. The inauguration ceremony of the Hamhung Barbecue Restaurant was held on September 24. Present there were Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials of the province and the city, working people, builders and employees of the restaurant. Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the provincial people’s committee, addressed the ceremony. And speeches were made. At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the restaurant.
