Myongsasimni Railway Station has been built in the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area of the DPRK crowded with tourists enjoying their fantastic holiday under the care of the Workers’ Party of Korea which seeks to provide the people with a new brighter and richer life and high civilization. The station, with a total floor space of 7 000 square meters, was built in a unique architectural style to suit the characteristics of the coastal tourist city. It is a standard local railway station built practically in terms of its mission, function and service to ensure sightseeing. Steak Restaurant Inaugurated in Phyongsong City of DPRK2026.09.08.
A steak restaurant to be conducive to improvement of people’s dietary life and development of food culture was newly built in Phyongsong City, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK. The restaurant, built in a unique architectural style by combining classical and modern beauty, has indoor service rooms and open-air service area where different kinds of steaks, cold noodles and soft drinks can be served. New Steak Restaurant Inaugurated in Sinuiju City of DPRK2026.09.08.
A new steak restaurant has appeared in Sinuiju City, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK. The restaurant, another catering service facility for the people, was built in a peculiar way at a scenic place of the border city. It has hundreds of seats, alongside various service rooms meeting the convenience of guests. Its inauguration ceremony took place on September 8. Present there were officials of the province and the city, working people, builders and employees of the restaurant. The Nampho Schoolchildren’s Palace was built and inaugurated in the sports village area of Waudo District in the DPRK. With the construction of the palace with various rooms including the foreign language group room, the program development group room and the accordion group room, and the comprehensive sports and cultural and welfare facilities, schoolchildren have been provided with an extracurricular education base capable of training them into talents with versatile knowledge and high cultural attainments. Roofing Tile and Paving Block Factory Inaugurated in North Phyongan Province2026.07.29.
A roofing tile and paving block factory has been built and inaugurated in North Phyongan Province of the DPRK. The completion of the factory with high-performance equipment necessary for the production of different types of roofing tiles and paving blocks laid another material and technical foundation for regional construction. National Sci-tech Presentation in Field of Construction2026.07.25.
A national sci-tech presentation in the field of construction took place at the Sci-Tech Complex from July 21 to 24 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Architects Union of Korea. Attending the presentation on the theme of "Economic effectiveness and protection of ecological environment" were officials, teachers, researchers and designers of different units including the State Academy of Sciences, the State General Bureau of Design, the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection and Pyongyang University of Architecture. Presented to it were more than 160 papers conducive to improving the Juche architecture. Modern gymnasium and outdoor stadium have been newly built at Wonsan University of Agriculture in the DPRK. Those multi-functional gymnasium and outdoor stadium make it possible to further improve the educational conditions and environment and will help the teaching staff and students of the university train their bodies and minds and intensify their extracurricular and cultural and leisure activities. Present at the inauguration ceremony held on July 20 were officials of the Party and power organs in Kangwon Province, officials concerned and teaching staff and students of the university.
