A New Scenery of Scientists Residential District

The following happened in June 2014 when the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was inspecting the construction site of the Wisong Scientists Residential District.
While stressing the need to make effective use of plots in laying out houses, he was told that it was planned to create parks and lawns between apartment houses and public buildings.
He said it would be good to make sideline fields and small greenhouses between buildings in the scientists residential district in keeping with the feature of its location in a Pyongyang suburb, adding that scientists and technicians would be more pleased with them.
That day, he gave detailed instructions on building the houses and their surroundings well lest the scientists have any inconveniences.
Accordingly, vegetable gardens and greenhouses were built in place of parks and lawns.
