Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, has greeted another “season of moving into new flats” in the spring of April.
New super-high-rise and high-rise apartment blocks and various neighbourhood-serving amenities boasting of their appearances and majestic figures as a splendid urban quarter are in harmony in a particular way. This large architectural group is seething with people moving into their new flats every day.
Trucks carrying household goods are arriving in different parts of the new street amid the joy and songs.
The owners of new houses were deeply moved to receive the house licenses and the builders extended warm congratulations, sharing the joy. Such happy images, which are seen day by day in the era of the Workers’ Party of Korea, can be witnessed only in the fairyland of the great socialist family.
The vast Hwasong area reverberated with the cheers and excited voices of the people enjoying the beautiful scenery of Pyongyang where a new era of prosperity and cultural efflorescence is being unfolded.
“The new and wonderful street in the Hwasong area is a pride of our Pyongyang.”
“I admired the dwelling houses in Hwasong Street and Rimhung Street, but here I can feel the magnificence of our Pyongyang which is developing beyond recognition every year, and it seems that I see the future of a prosperous and powerful country.”
The people’s laughter is growing louder day by day with the beautiful spring season when all kinds of flowers are in full bloom. This laughter reverberates across the country as their cheers for the WPK and socialism.
