Kaesong Disabled Soldiers’ Medical Appliances Factory Renovated

The Kaesong Disabled Soldiers’ Medical Appliances Factory has been renovated.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth the task for modernizing the factory and expanding its production capacity and took benevolent measures.
All production lines, ranging from raw material feeding to injection molding, assembling and packaging, have been put on a germ-free and dust-free basis. This makes it possible to provide another material and technical foundation for improving the quality of medical service by putting the production of various kinds of medical appliances on a normal basis in conformity with the constitution and demand of the Korean people and the international quality control standards.
The inauguration ceremony of the renovated project of the factory took place on April 29.
Present there were Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Choe Kyong Nam, chairman of the Kaesong Municipal People’s Committee, officials concerned, builders, employees of the factory, officials and working people who contributed to the construction.
At the ceremony a speaker underscored the need for the officials and working people of the factory to make a tangible contribution to displaying the advantages and vitality of the socialist healthcare system by performing their responsibility and duty in the struggle to implement the Workers’ Party of Korea’s policy on public health.
After the ceremony the participants looked round the factory.
