A library was inaugurated in Koryo Songgyungwan University.
Located at the foot of picturesque Mt Songak, it blends well with the main building of the university. The library has sufficient facilities for sci-tech research and dissemination, such as halls for academic discussion and reading spaces.
With this new library added to the university that boasts a long history, better conditions have been provided for improving its teaching and scientific research and consolidating its material and technological foundations.
As a sci-tech dissemination base, the library will help students enrich their knowledge.
Its inauguration ceremony took place on April 23.
Present there were Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, officials, teaching staff and students of the university and builders.
After the ceremony the participants looked round the library.
